A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can prescribe medication and provide medical treatments for mental health conditions. They are medical doctors who have done M.B.B.S., M.D. and/or D.N.B., D.P.M. in Psychiatry. Dr. Aditi Hinge is our founder and consultant psychiatrist. Her qualifications are M.B.B.S., M.D., D.N.B. Psychiatry. On the other hand, a psychologist is a mental health professional who provides therapy and counseling services. Their qualifications include MA/MSc in Psychology and/or Phd. They are not capable to prescribe medications. Our team of psychologists are well qualified, trained and equipped with various techniques of therapy.
If you're experiencing severe mental health symptoms that may require medication management, such as severe depression, severe anxiety, insomnia, bipolar mood disorder, psychosis, a psychiatrist may be more appropriate. If you're seeking talk therapy to address emotional or behavioral issues, a psychologist may be a better fit.
At Nysha Mind Wellness, Dr. Aditi Hinge takes the initiative to evaluate each and every client whether its mild or severe and then collaboratively with the client prepares a plan to recovery. This can be only talk therapy or a combination of therapy and medications based on the client’s needs and preference.

Yes, we offer teletherapy options for both psychiatry and psychology appointments. Virtual appointments allow for convenient and accessible mental health care from the comfort of your own home.
