Psychiatry. On the other hand, a psychologist is a mental health professional who provides therapy and counseling services. Their qualifications include MA/MSc in Psychology and/or Phd. They are not capable to prescribe medications. Our team of psychologists are well qualified, trained and equipped with various techniques of therapy.
If you're experiencing severe mental health symptoms that may require medication management, such as severe depression, severe anxiety, insomnia, bipolar mood disorder, psychosis, a psychiatrist may be more appropriate. If you're seeking talk therapy to address emotional or behavioral issues, a psychologist may be a better fit.
